Calvary Scott Valley began in June 2012 as a Bible study in the home of James and Kimberly Beane. The group started with just one other couple, and in 2015 started meeting twice a week for Sunday services as well. The vision for another church The vision behind another church in the town of Fort Jones • Different churches exist because we are all different. Another Christian Church is another option. We don’t claim to be better, just a little different than the other churches in Fort Jones, Etna, and Callahan. • We think there is room for a church that is focused on teaching the Word of God expositionally week to week, month to month, and year after year. • It has been our desire from the very beginning to have the best loved, best cared for, best fed believers all growing together in the grace and fellowship of Christ.
